About 25 Portuguese physicists and engineers,
from five institutes (LIP, INESC, IST, INEGI e Univ. Porto), are collaborating
in the CMS experiment at CERN. Under the LIP leadership, the Portuguese
group is responsible for the development and construction of important parts
of the experiment.
