PhD thesis defense

Susana Santos' thesis work focused on the search for the production of the Higgs boson in association with a pair of top quarks in the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, and was carried out within the scope of the LIP group participating in this experiment.
The thesis was supervised by António Onofre (LIP/UMinho), Filipe Veloso (LIP) and Juan Antonio Aguilar Saavedra (University of Granada, Spain). The members of the Jury were Joaquim Santos (LIBPhys/UC), Brigitte Hiller (CFisUC), Isabel Lopes (LIP/UC), Ana Henriques (CERN), Rui Santos (CFTC/ISEL), Patricia Conde (LIP/IST) and António Onofre.
