"On Sunday, the Lousal Ciência Viva Science Center organized a summer activity dedicated to the LouMu project. And of course, the visit to the mining complex could not be left out!"

On Sunday, August 6, another summer activity was held by the Lousal Ciência Viva Science Center. It was dedicated to the dissemination of the LouMu project, which has been muographing inside the mining complex with muon telescopes.

Guided by Pedro Teixeira, PhD student and member of LIP's AUGER group, the participants occupied the morning with a lecture on muography and the LouMu project.

In the afternoon, the activities took place in the mine. There was a visit to the prototype and muon telescope, always with descriptions of the geophysical and muographic work that is developed there. The day ended on a high note - the photographs say it all!
