LIP at Alto Minho Science Fest 2025

The Alto Minho Science Fest 2025 was held between 20 and 22 March at the Arcos de Valdevez Ciência Viva Centre - Oficinas Himalaya. This is the first edition of an event that aims to promote the sharing of scientific knowledge in the Alto Minho region, with the theme ‘The future is now: trends in Science and Technology’.
LIP took part in the Science and Technology Exhibition, which took place over the three days of the festival, where it showed the public a stand with working particle detectors, virtual tours of the Pierre Auger Observatory and CERN's ATLAS experiment, and an interactive miniature accelerator. The event also included various debate sessions, lectures, workshops, science demonstration shows and planetarium sessions.
