FCT evaluation of R&D Units

The visit to LIP is expected in Jan, with:

Session with all researchers: presentation by the unit coordinator + questions
Session with PhD students + young PhDs

Contribution to ESPP update

Here you can find a text with the thoughts of Daniel Treille on the upgrade. It expresses the view that the next major facility in Europe should be a large circular e+e- collider, followed by a proton-proton (ion-ion, e-p, etc) collider in the same tunnel, as proposed in the FCC (Future Circular Collider) study. New rules for administrative procedures concerning purchases

- “Requisições de Material” are now mandatory above 20 euros (without IVA)
- If there are shipping or transportation guides, they must be delivered at the secretariat, signed by the receiver of the material and marked “Conferido”.
The checked and signed guides can be uploaded to the corresponding “Requisição”.

CIÊNCIAVITAE

This is the new FCT CV that will replace FCT SIG CV (and will gather the info spread in a number of platforms (FCT-SIG CV, DeGóis, RENATES, REBIDES, ORCID, RCAAP).
It will be used by FCT starting from the next calls (but still optional).
