FCT evaluation of R&D Units

The visits to the units are ongoing. Our best guess is that the visit to LIP could happen in Dec/Jan. We expect a 3-hour visit including:
- Session with all researchers, with a 20 min presentation by the unit coordinator and the remaining time for questions
- Session(s) with the PhD students and young PhDs

This is part of the evaluation on the last 5 years + next 5 years. The documentation LIP has delivered in January can be found here.

This is the new FCT CV that will replace FCT SIG CV (and will gather the info spread in a number of platforms (FCT-SIG CV, DeGóis, RENATES, REBIDES, ORCID, RCAAP).

MVA4NewPhys meeting

This International Training Network (ITN) was in Lisbon and the program included two seminars at LIP and a public sessions that gathered 300 people at Biblioteca nacional. More news in the ITN blog.

LIP at Hard Probes 2018

The 9th International Conference on Hard & Electromagnetic Probes of High-Energy Nuclear Collisions was held in Aix-le-Bains, France, last week. Once more, the LIP Phenomenology group was very well represented.
