The IEEE International
Conference on Dielectric Liquids (ICDL) is an interdisciplinary forum for the
presentation and discussion of ideas, research results and practical experience
on properties, phenomena and applications of dielectric liquids. It is addressed
to scientists and engineers who are engaged in research and practical
applications of dielectric liquids, including:
-
Basic properties and
processes (properties of charge carriers, electrical conduction, space
charge effects, high field effects, interfacial effects, optical properties, etc)
-
Pre-breakdown and breakdown phenomena
-
Radiation
induced processes, detectors and applications
-
Advanced experimental
methods (measurements, diagnostic and monitoring techniques)
-
Materials (Molten
polymers, liquid crystals, super critical fluids, etc)
-
Applications
and technologies
-
Electro-hydrodynamics
-
Biophysics
related phenomena
The ICDL 2005 will be held at
the University of Coimbra , Portugal, 26 June-1 July 2005
